In womans head

Vernissage: October 15, 2024, 6:00 PM
What is a woman? What does she think about, assuming she is capable of reasoning at all? Since ancient times, rather than seeking answers to these questions from women themselves, men have invented various responses, thereby diminishing the social role of women. In our culture, literature has been a source of shared fantasies, but also of prejudices and fears. Interestingly, due to the systematically weakened position of female authors, most of the images we remember have been described by men, and for some reason, women with negative traits seemed more intriguing to them. So how would these stories sound if they were rewritten? What would happen if fictional heroines were freed from their imposed characters? Magdalena Moskwa boldly reverses the direction of previous reflection, pondering what could actually be found in a woman’s mind and soul if one looked directly inside.
